Outages and data loss aren't a question of if — they're a question of how ready you are. We design and manage Azure-based disaster recovery with defined recovery objectives, so your business can recover quickly and predictably.
Azure provides the building blocks for serious disaster recovery — multiple regions, Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery — but resilience only exists if those building blocks are configured correctly and tested regularly. A backup you've never restored from, or a failover plan you've never actually run, isn't a plan you can trust.
We design Azure disaster recovery around specific recovery time and recovery point objectives per workload, then test the failover regularly so "should work" becomes "does work."
Business impact analysis and recovery objective setting per workload
Automated, scheduled backup across Virtual Machines, Azure SQL, and other services
Cross-region replication and failover architecture
Documented runbooks for recovery execution
Scheduled failover testing under realistic conditions, with results reported and gaps remediated
Azure Backup handles the data copy. Disaster recovery is the complete, tested process for restoring operations — including failover, DNS reconfiguration, and application recovery — within a defined timeframe.
At minimum annually, ideally more often for critical systems — a plan that isn't tested regularly can't be trusted when you actually need it.
Yes — immutable, isolated backups are a core part of ransomware resilience on Azure, since they can't be encrypted or deleted by an attacker who's compromised your primary environment.
